Additional: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Worthington Methodist church for Mrs. Jane Brokaw Tangeman, age 46, wife of Carl Tangeman, Worthington, who was killed in an automobile accident Saturday as she and her daughter, Susan were enroute with friends to Wellesley College, Wellesley, Mass. Mrs. Tangeman is a former Wapakoneta resident and taught in Blume high school at Wapakoneta previous to her marriage. Burial will take place in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington. Mrs. Tangeman is survived in addition to her husband and daughter, Susan, by a son, Philip, 20, daughter, Sally, 14, her father, Harvey Brokaw, Wapakoneta and sister, Mrs. Alfred (Louise) Kattman, Wapakoneta. She was president of the Worthington board of education for the second year and had been a member of the board five years. Mrs. Tangeman and her 18 year old daughter, Susan left Saturday morning for Wellesley with Mrs. Marcia McClintock and her two daughters Marcia, 17 and Carolyn, 15 of Columbus. Near Milan, O., according to the state highway patrol, Mrs. McClintock stopped the car on 113 and then made a left hand turn on four lane 250 in the path of a truck. Mrs. Tangeman was hurled from the car by the impact. Mrs. McClintock was seriously hurt. The girls escaped injury.
