Additional: New Bremen, Feb. 3.—John Schierholt, 76, 212 N. Walnut Street, New Bremen, died at 4:45 a.m. today in Memorial township hospital from complications. He had been in ill health some time. Mr. Schierholt was employed at the Stamco Manufacturing Co in New Bremen until three years ago when he retired because of his health. He was born May 9, 1881 in Mercer County the son of the late John and Katherine Toneges Schierholt. He married Emma Wittenbrink on February 18, 1911. Surviving with his wife in one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Lilas) Wattercutter of New Bremen. Mr. Scierholt and his wife have made their home the last three years with their son-in-law and daughter. Mr. Schierholt is the last member of his immediate family. He was a member of St. Pauls E. and R. Church. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Gilberg and Hegemier Funeral Home in New Bremen. Dr. E.H. Bassler will officiate. Burial will take place in Willow grove cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the funeral home until the hour of the services.
