Additional: St. Marys—Roger V. Rupert, 45, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday in the emergency room of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Noble township, Auglaize County, the son of Onie and Corrine Heywood Rupert. Mr. Rupert had been employed by Parker-Hannifan Corp. for 12 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He served in Germany with the U.S. Army and was a member of Robert Lee Griner Post 9289, Veterans of Foreign wars and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Forrest (Margie) Hays of St. Marys and Mrs. Steven (Charlene) Jones of Elida. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Rev. Theodore T. Stellhorn officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund or the heart Fund.
