Additional: Seven year old Gregory Wayne Rumer, R.R. 1, Waynesfield, became Auglaize County's 16th traffic victim in 1965, Saturday afternoon. The child was struck and killed by an automobile as he ran across the road in front of his home, 1.1 miles north of Waynesfield on state highway 196. Gregory Wayne was born June 23, 1958, in Lima, the son of Bibler and LaVaun Hower Rumer. Surviving him in addition to his parents are four brothers, Clyde of Lima, Lowell of Waynesfield, John of R.R.1, Lafayette, and Clarence Rumer at home; one sister, Mrs. William (Diamond) Myers, R.R.1 Lakeview and one grandfather, John Howe, R.R.1, St. Johns. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the McAuley Funeral Home, Waynesfield with the Rev. Fred Whitley officiating. Burial took place in Fairmont cemetery.
