Additional: James E. Lee, 73, Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Wapakoneta and Lima, died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Bowling Green. He was born March 27, 1927, in Wapakoneta, the son of Robert H. and Mary Irene (Barber) Lee. His first wife, Glenadean "Pinky" Lee Gish, survives. His second wife, Pansy Barger, also survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Beth (Mike) Shook of Lima, Monique (Ken) Clark of New Braunfels, Texas, and Danita (Richard) Bowersock of Rifle, Colo.; three brothers, Bill (Jan) Maus of Lima, Bob (Bobbie) Lee of Ottowa and Frank Lee of Bydcoszcz, Poland; nine sisters, Carol Loube of Celina, Jackie Lininger of St. Marys, Ann (Karl) Kurtz of Scroggins, Texas, Ginny (Dick) Lhamon of Oakwood, Janet Krish and Barbara Lee, both of Lima, Patty (Ralph) Smith of St. Francisville, La., Bette (Ron) Rader of Riverside, Calif., and Carol (Frank) Lobue of Chicago; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Lee; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, David Lee and Larry Lee. Mr. Lee was retired from Teledyne Ohio Steel in Lima. He was a member of the Burkesville, Ky., Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Eagles, both of Wapakoneta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Burkesville Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery in Burkesville, Ky. Friends may call today at Norris & Neu Mortuary, 601 N. Main St. Burkesville, Ky.
