Additional: St. Marys—Shirley D. Rieger Hudson, 49, of here, died at 12;25 a.m. Sunday at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 11, 1940, in St. Marys, the daughter of Paul E. and Violet Williams Rieger. Her mother survives in St. Marys. Mrs. Hudson had formerly worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., West Ohio Gas Co., and was associated with the former Slim's Place. She graduated in 1958 from Memorial High School Survivors also include two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Joann) Siler of Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. Ralph (Liberty) Pickering Jr. of St. Marys; a granddaughter; two sisters, Roxy Vogan of St. Marys and Mrs. Ken (Denise) Kohler of Wapakoneta; a brother, Paul Rieger of St. Marys; and a close companion, Marshall Dunn of St. Marys. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rev. David A. Heinl officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a Scripture service will be at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
