Additional: James Lee Hehr, 43, of R.R.1, New Bremen, was dead on arrival at 6 a.m. Sunday in Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. Born Aug. 15, 1934, at R.R.1, New Bremen, he was the son of Ernest and Malinda (Kuck) Hehr. On June 23, 1956 he and Phyllis Halterman were married. He is survived by his former wife; five children, Carol, Cheryl, Karen, Kristine and Kenneth all at home and a sister, Mrs. James (Eileen) Campbell, New Bremen. Mr. Hehr was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, New Bremen. He was a farmer and a trucker of cattle. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church with the Rev. Floyd Braun officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gilberg Funeral Home New Bremen from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
