Additional: A well known citizen of this village Tuesday evening, March 30th, 1915, about 6 o'clock claimed the life of Henry William Hoewischer, aged 84 years ten months & ten days . He was born in Germany & came to the United States at the age of eighteen years . Upon coming he settled on a farm five miles south of New Bremen, Ohio on the Sidney Pike residing there until fifteen years ago, when he & his wife came to New Bremen, Ohio. Mr. Hoewischer was married three times, his first wife being a Miss Quellhorst, (this can not be right as his wife was Justina Lamping) to this union twelve children where born, one whom has passed to the Great Beyond . His second wife was Charlotte Stroefer & the third was Mrs. Louise Patton to whom he was united in marriage ten years ago, & who survives. Mr. Hoewischer was taken ill two weeks ago of ailments of general debily to old age, & death came to him most peacefully. The children who survive are, John, Henry, George, Edward Hoewischer, Mrs. Gust Fricke & Mrs. Gust Kettler, all of Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Ida Techlenberg, six miles east of the village, Mrs. Henry Brandt, Gust & Fred Hoewischer, of Kettlersville, Ohio, & William Hoewischer, of Sidney, Ohio. The funeral will be at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the residence & at 2:00 o'clock at St. Paul's Church, conducted by Rev. W. F. Henminger, with interment in the German Protestant Cemetery at Lock Two. April 1st, 1915
