She was born Nov. 25, 1918, in Auglaize County, to Ollie and Emma (Rhynard) Botkin. On July 13, 1940, she married Charles C. Hunter, who died Oct. 14, 1982. Survivors are two sons and their wives, Ron C. and Margaret A. of St. Marys, and Steve A. and Joyce of Grove City; a son, James C. of Bradford; a sister, Martha Axe, St. Marys; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was head cook for West Elementary School cafeteria, St. Marys, and was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, its Mothers Study Club and women's group, and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Guild 6, both of St. Marys. She was a 1936 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. David L. Woodyard officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
