Additional: New Bremen, Nov. 6, Ernest Frederick Hehr, 60 of 110 North Walnut street, died of a coronary attack at 12:05 p.m. Sunday in Joint Township hospital where he had been a patient since Wednesday. He had been ailing with a heart condition for a number of years. He was born in St. Marys Township on December 21, 1906, a son of the late Christian and Christine Zahn Hehr. On June 21, 1928, he married Malinda Kuck who survives with a daughter, Mrs. James (Eileen) Campbell of New Bremen, a son, James Hehr of R.R. 1, New Bremen, and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. George (Frieda) Nussmeyer of New Bremen, Mrs. Leonard (Matilda) Waterman of R.R.3, Wapakoneta, and Mrs. Wilbur (Clara) Lambert of Wapakoneta, a brother, John Hehr of Fort Recovery, and an uncle, John Zahn of New Bremen. Mr. Hehr had been engaged until recently in farming and was an employee at Stamco. He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, and the Lay, Life and work Council of the church. He belonged to the Eagles Lodge, St. Marys and the New Bremen Rod and Gun Club. Funeral services will be held in the Gilberg funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John M. Lindner officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Tuesday noon until time of the Services. Those wishing to contribute memorial gifts are asked to give to the Zion Memorial fund or the Heart fund.
