Additional: New Bremen—Dorothy M. Harlamert, 88, of 5820 Ohio 274, New Bremen, died at 12:42 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 1999 in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital at St. Marys. She was born Nov. 5, 1910, at Van Buren Township, Shelby County to Adolph and Emilie Egbert Geib. On June 8, 1937 she married Alton Harlamert. He died Oct. 3, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Emily and Gary Wiedeman of New Bremen; one son, Dean Harlamert of Eufaula, Ala; six grandchildren, Neil and Karla Wiedeman of New Bremen, Russ and Sheryl Wiedeman of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, Dana Wiedeman of Columbus, Shelly and John Zeller of New Bremen, and Lesley Harlamert and Ryan Harlamert, both of Alabama; three great-grandchidren. One brother, Webster Geib is deceased. Mrs. Harlamert was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Church at New Bremen and was an active member of various church organizations. She was a member of the New Bremen Senior Citizens and had taught elementary education for over 37 years with almost all of those years in the New Bremen School system. She was also a member of the Auglaize County Retired Teachers Association and the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thurday in St. Peter's Church at New Bremen with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Holmer officiating. Calling hours will be on Wednesday at Gilberg Funeral Home at New Bremen from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with burial taking place in the German Portestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Church Memorial Fund or to the New Bremen Public Library.
