Additional: Mallie Baber, 65, formerly of New Bremen, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester Ky. She was born Aug. 1935, in Carcassonne, Ky., to Cript and Susie Eldridge. On May 12, 1956, she married Bluford Baber, who died April 15, 1994. Sue is survived by two daughters, Suzanna (Ron) Walter of St. Marys and Vera Lee (Steven) Hall of French Lick, Ind.; three sisters of Kentucky; four sisters-in-law,; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a friend, Ike Spaulding. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, Ky. Burial will follow in Log Lick Cemetery, in Winchester. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
