Additional: Loretta E. Benanzer, 89, 7920 Ft. Loramie-Swanders Road, Anna died at 7:15 Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney following a two-week illness. She was born Aug. 10.1911, in Minster, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Kaiser) Steuve. On April 27, 1938, she married Urban Benanzer, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Joan (Ray) Massey of Anna and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers. A homemaker, Mrs. Benanzer was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie. She was also a member of St. Anne Ladies Sodality of the church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven Shoup and the Rev. Chris Wittman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in St. Patrick. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorials may be directed to the St. Michael Catholic Church Restoration Fund.
