Additional: New Bremen, May 19—Mrs. William Klanke and F.T. Purpus received word yesterday of the death of their sister, Mrs. William (Alma) Bowman, 74, at her home in Dayton Tuesday. She had been ill since February. A native of New Bremen, Mrs. Bowman had resided in Dayton for many years. She was a frequent visitor here. Surviving with the husband are four sons, Mr. Arthur Bowman of St. Louis, Mo., Dr. Warren Bowman of Greenville, O., Dr. Albert Bowman of Dayton, and Major William Bowman of Ft. Knox, Ky.; her sister, Mrs. Klanke and brother, Mr. Purpus. A daughter is deceased. Those from New Bremen who will attend the funeral services Friday afternoon in Dayton are Mrs. Klanke, Mrs. Beata Isern, Mr. Purpus, Mr and Mrs. Harry Nussmeyer, and Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Dickman.
