Additional: Last Thursday afternoon Eli Young who resides a few miles from Wapakoneta, started from the house with the intention of shooting some pigeons that were flying around the barn. The report of his gun was heard by some member of the family who anxious to ascertain the result, went to the barn and found Mr. Young lying on the floor dead. It was supposed he attempted to climb a ladder leading to the haymow, with gun in hand when the lock came in contact with the ladder, and the gun was discharged.. The funeral took place from his late residence last Sunday.
