Additional: Sylvanus W. Wagner died at 4:30 o'clock Sunday morning at Gibbons hospital, Celina, his death occurring the day before his 44th birthday anniversary. He had been ill for two weeks, suffering with pneumonia followed by meningitis. Mr. Wagner was the son of the late George and Matilda Settlage Wagner and was born March 1, 1899, on the Wagner farm, New Bremen road. In 1925 he married Agnes Opperman, who survives along with their two daughters, Jocelyn and Mary Lou. Besides his wife and children he leaves a sister, Mrs. J. F. Evans, San Diego, Calif., and three brothers, Harry, of Sacramento, Calif., Richard and Alvin Wagner of New Bremen. He was a member of the Zion Reformed Church at New Bremen and of the Eagles lodge at Wapakoneta. Mr. Wagner had been employed until recently at Hannifin's. Funeral services for Mr. Wagner have not been arranged pending word from the brother and sister in California. His body is at the Yoder Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock Tuesday evening. The services will be held at the funeral home, date to be announced later, and burial will be made in Willow Grove cemetery, near New Bremen.
