Additional: Ruth Wisener, 84, died at 8:58 p.m. Aug. 18 at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys. She was born July 31, 1916, in Auglaize County, to Howard and Gertrude (McKee) Colvin. On May 6, 1937, she married Frederick (Fritz) Wisener, who died Dec. 14, 1994. Survivors are a son and his wife, William and Barbara of Carlsbad, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Resnick, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Marjorie Huff, St. Marys; a brother and his wife, Walter and Harriet Colvin, St. Marys; two sisters- in-law, Esther Colvin, Springfield, and Mary Colvin, Dayton; and six grandchildren. Deceased are four brothers, Dowl, Frederick, Arthur and Milton Colvin. She was co-owner with her husband of the former Wisener's 5 & 10 Store, and was also owner of Econ-O-Wash and Blue Ribbon Laundries, all St. Marys. She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and was a 1935 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. David Woodyard officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Contributions can be made to the church.
