Additional: Russell M. "Rusty Ladd" Widmark, 54, Wapakoneta, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Miami Valley Medical Center in Dayton. He was born Dec. 12, 1946 in Lima, the son of Rusty and Kathleen (Frost) Widmark. His mother survives in Wapakoneta. Other survivors include a daughter, Melinda Horn of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sons, Jim Funke of St. Petersburg. Fla., and Rex Hartman of Wapakoneta; five brothers, Randy (Pat) Widmark, Jeff Widmark, Dana (Brenda) Widmark, Ronnie (Brenda) Widmark and Keith Widmark, all of Wapakoneta; a sister, Kay (Michael) Teman of Fort Jennings; and two grandchildren. Mr. Widmark had worked with the Minster Machine Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 8445, the American Legion 330 and the Eagles 691, all of Wapakoneta. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta with the Rev. Peter Doseck officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Wapakoneta VFW at the funeral home following the service. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
