Additional: New Bremen, Feb. 28—Miss Melinda Ida Weinberg, 76, died last evening at 11:45 at the St. Marys Nursing Home where she had been a patient since August. Death was attributed to complications following a four year illness. A lifelong resident of New Bremen, she was born March 28, 1879, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Wilhelmina Schwaberow Weinberg. Surviving are a brother, William Weinberg of New Bremen, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bruns of New Bremen. A sister, Cora and a brother, Charles preceeded her in death, the latter June 11, 1953. She was a member of the Christian Alliance Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Elmer F. Johnson at the Vornholt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the services Thursday.
