Additional: Howard C. Wellman, 64, of Route 1, New Knoxville, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in the University Hospital, Columbus. He was born On March 8, 1923 in Washington Township, the son of Ferd and Ella (Meckstroth) Wellman. On June 1, 1946, he married Margorie L. Henkener, who preceded him in death. He is survived by one brother, Paul Wellman, New Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his son David, who died in 1970. Mr. Wellman was a Dairy Farmer. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ. Services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Kwiatek and Rev. Jon Coddington officiating. Burial will be at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in New Knoxville. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Vornholt Miller Fuenral Home in New Knoxville.
