Additional: New Knoxville—Caroline E. Weber, 88, of here, formerly of Cleveland, died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday in Fairhaven Home, Upper Sandusky, where she had resided since August of 1986. She was born July 6, 1903, in Shelby County, the daughter of Herman and Amelia Meckstroth Elshoff. On July 5, 1928, she married Rev. Harold E. Weber, who died in 1955. Mrs. Weber worked as a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Cleveland. She was a member of the Unity Lutheran Church in Cleveland, and the Retired Nurses Association. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Clara) Gritzmaker of Botkins, and Mrs. Robert (Alice) Andrews of Brook Park. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home in New Knoxville, Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ Radio Broadcast Fund, New Knoxville, or Fairhaven Home, Upper Sandusky.
