Additional: New Knoxville, June 3.—Mrs. Reinhart Vohs, age 29, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 7:10 o'clock this morning at Gibbons hospital, Celina, where she had submitted to a Caesarean section last Saturday for the birth of a son. The baby died shortly after birth. Mrs. Vohs was getting along satisfactorily and was to have been removed from the hospital tomorrow to the home of her parents. Word of her sudden death came as a shock to relatives and friends who had looked forward to her coming home. Mrs. Vohs was the former Elfrieda Schnelle, a daughter of Henry and Edna Eschmeyer Schnelle. She was born July 15, 1914, at New Bremen. On June 24, 1939, she was married to Reinhart Vohs, employed by Detjen Grain Company, who is left to mourn her death. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, a sister, Mrs. Wesley Auferhaar, three miles east of New Knoxville, and four brothers, Pfc. Norman Schnelle, and Cpl. Virgil Schnelle, both serving overseas with the U.S. Army, Seaman Kermit Schnelle, Bedford, Pa., and Myron Schnelle, at home. She was a member of the Evangelical Reformed church and Sunday school. Funeral services are arranged for Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence and 2 O'clock at the Evangelical Reformed church. Dr. D.A. Bode will officiate. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends may call at her late residence any time after 7 o'clock Sunday evening until the hour of the funeral.
