Additional: George List Thompson, age 86, of this city, died at 7:05 a.m. today at the Auglaize County Home, his death being due to infirmities of age. He was employed before his retirement with the Crane and MacMahon, Inc. and with the Deisel-Wemmer-Gilbert Inc. Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 26, 1870 in New Bremen, son of Thomas B. and Mary List Thompson. On Sept 10, 1896, he married Anna J. Brueggeman whose death occurred in 1945. Surviving him are two sons, Elton of St. Marys and Clinton Thompson of Philadelphia, Pa., two grandchildren and a brother Ray Thompson, R.R. 4, Dayton. One child is deceased. He was a long time member of the Eagles lodge, having been presented with his veterans pin at a recent anniversary of the lodge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sittler Memorial Home with the Rev. W.R. Fausey officiating. Burial will take place in Willow Grove cemetery, near New Bremen. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at the Sittler Memorial Home.
