Additional: Sidney—Sheryl M. Sparks, 95, Dorothy Love Retirement Home, died at 8:50 a.m. Monday March 13, 1995 at her residence. She was born Dec. 4, 1899, in Marion Ind. to Edward F. and Ida (Stephens) Miller. On May 28, 1921, she married Dr. Edward P. Sparks who is deceased. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Louis Sparks, Sidney, a son-in- law, Johe E. Vohler, Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Sparks and Dr. E.P. Sparks Jr. and two daughters, Virginia Vohlers and Josephine Sparks. Mrs. Sparks was a graduate of Bowling Green State University, taught school in New Knoxville for 27 years and was a member of the national, Ohio and Auglaize County Retired Teachers Associations and the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma of Auglaize County. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville. The body has been cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date at North Grove Cemetery in Celina with the Rev. David Hunt officiating. The preferred memorials are to the church radio fund or the Dorothy Love Life Care Fund. Arrangements were made by Gilberg Funeral Home in New Bremen.
