Additional: St. Marys—Martha L. Strasburg, 67, 15176 Townline Kossuth Road, died following an extended illness at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 1995, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. She was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Washington Township to Gustave and Elsie (Buddemeyer) Niemeyer. On Feb. 2, 1947, she married Verlin C. Strasburg who survives. She is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Cindy, Wapakoneta; Thomas and Bev. St. Marys; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kevin Doseck; eight grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Strasburg, Michelle, Angela and Kevin Strasburg, Sara, Christopher and Paul Doseck; two brothers, Robert, and George, both of Wapakoneta; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Donna Jean) Mann, Wapakoneta; Mrs. Vernon (Julia) Paul, New Bremen; and a nunber of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son John C. on Feb.1, 1995; and two infant sons. Mrs. Strasburg was a homemaker. She was a 1946 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta; a member of the Rural Women's Club for 36 years, Farm Bureau Concil #26 and Farm Bureau Women. She was confirmed in the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for 30 years and was a member of the Rebecca Circle. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Patrick F. McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Long & Folk Funeral Home. The preferred memorial is to the church endowment fund.
