Additional: The subject of this notice, Mrs. Margaret A. Shiery, was born April 15, 1840, and died at her home in Moulton township on Saturday, May 3, 1902, at the age of 62 years and 15 days. The deceased was married to John W. Shiery, Sept. 21, 1864 and there were born to them nine children, six boys and three girls, three of whom died in infancy. The husband and father died four years ago, leaving his family in confortable circumstances. The surviving children now mourn the loss of their only earthly parent, a good and affectionate mother; one whose deepest concern while living was for their temporal as well as their eternal welfare. Mrs. Shiery united with the Church of Christ about forty years ago and ever afterward lived the life of a devoted and consistent Christian. The funeral took place from Otterbein U.B. Church on Monday May 5, Rev. Mr. Brundige of Lima, conducting the services.
