Additional: New Knoxville—Mrs. Mary A. Schrolucke, 69, Rt. 1, New Knoxville, died Wednesday night at Joint Township Hospital, St. Marys, following an illness of one and a half years. She was born July 7, 1892, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Adoph and Anna Marie (Gerding) Henschen, both deceased. She was married April 18, 1912, to William L. Schrolucke, who survives. Other survivors include three sons, Vernon H. of Sidney, Donald W. of Zanesville, Robert L. of New Knoxville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchilden; four brothers, George Henschen of Rt. 2, St. Marys, Herman A. of New Knoxville, Fred of Rt. 2, St. Marys, Adolph of New Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Louisa) Schrolucke of Rt. 2, St. Marys, Mrs. Herman (Caroline) Harmeyer of Rt. 2, St. Marys; one brother Ewald died in infancy. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and was a life-long member of the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville. The deceased and her husband would have celebrated their golden anniversary in two weeks. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Church of Christ with Rev. Richard Meckstroth officiating. Burial wil be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen after Friday noon until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the body will be removed to the church until time of services. The family asked memorial gifts be given to the Auglaize County Cancer Fund.
