He was born Nov. 1, 1956, in St. Marys to Verlin C. and Martha L. (Niemeyer) Strasburg. He is survived by his parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Cindy Wapakoneta; Thomas and Bev. St. Marys; a sister and brother- in-law, Carol and Kevin Doseck, St. Marys; five nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by two infant brothers; paternal grandparents, Ben and Lillie (Nieter) Strasburg; and naternal grandparents, Gustave and Elsie (Buddemeyer) Niemeyer. Mr. Strasburg was a dairy farmer and a member of the national, state and county Holstein associations. He graduated in 1975 from Memorial High School. He was active in 4-H and FFA and received the State FFA Degree in 1975. He was baptised and confirmed in St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Patrick F. McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Long & Folk Funeral Home. The preferred memorial is to the church endowment fund.
