Additional: Henry H. Schnelle, R.R.1, New Knoxville, died Friday at 11:35 p.m. at the age of 86 at the Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home where he had been admitted as a patient that morning. He died of complications developing from injuries suffered in an automobile accident which happened February 27 just south of Wapakoneta on the Hardin Pike. His wife, the former Edna Eschmeyer, to whom he was married on May 13, 1913, died in that accident. Mr. Schnelle was born March 19, 1886 in Auglaize County the son of Carl and Caroline Schnelle. He was a farmer and a member of the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville. Surviving him are five children, Mrs. Wesley (Zippora) Aufderhaar, R.R.1, New Knoxville, Norman Schnelle, New Knoxville, Kermit Schnelle, R.R.1, Waynesfield, and Virgil and Myron Schnelle, both of New Bremen; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and the following sisters and brother; Mrs. Erwin (Emma) Wiehe, New Bremen, Mrs. Charles (Rose) Bielefeld, New Knoxville, Mrs. Merle (Amanda) Sturm, Troy; Mrs. Charles (Esther) Meacham, Cocoa, Fla., and Emil Schnelle, Venedocia. One brother, William Schnelle, a sister, Mrs. William Kuckerman, two grandchildren and one great grandchild are deceased. Funeral rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, with the Rev. Kenneth H. Worthman in charge. Interment will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home in New Knoxville after 1 p.m. Monday and until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, after which the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time of the service. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p .m. Monday.
