Additional: George S. Sullivan, 91, 1114 Motz St., St. Marys, was pronounced dead at 11:24 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at his residence by the St. Marys Fire Department. He was born Aug. 11, 1909, in St. Marys, the son of Emory and Clara (Hertenstein) Sullivan. On March 21, 1942, he married Betty Jones, who survives. Other survivors include five sons, Larry (Sue) Sullivan, Bob (Sue) Sullivan, Terry Sullivan and Tim Sullivan, all of St. Marys, and Louis Sullivan of Celina; three daughters, Sue (Pearl) Reed of St.Marys, Judith (Ray) Slone of New Knoxville, and Lynne Dircksen of Celina; a brother, Orlando Sullivan of St. Marys; a sister, Helen Moore of Decatur, Ind.; 17 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Sullivan, and three sisters, Lulu, Marie, and Ruth Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys, where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in St. Marys. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Funeral servcies will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
