Additional: A pall of gloom settled over New Knoxville and community this morning when announcement was made of the death of Albin G. Stienecker, age 40 years. He had been ill but about three hours, suffering from acute indigestion. His death is unusually sad as it marks the third death in the Stienecker family in the last 19 days. His mother, Mrs. A.H. Stienecker, and Henry Stienecker being amoung the number. Mr. Stienecker was born January 8, 1896, at New Knoxville, a son of August and Anna Schroer Stienecker. In August 1921 he was united in marriage with Miss Frances E. Katterheinrich who together with a son, Elton David, aged 16 months survive, together with his father and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. N.P. Katterheinrich, Mrs. A.A. Henschen. Mrs. Gustave Hoge and Clem R. Stienecker of New Knoxville; Edwin Stienecker, Midland,; and Reuben Stienecker, at the family home. Mr. Stienecker was a World War veteran having served with the A.E.F. overseas. He was a member of the American Legion Post, No 444. He was a telephone land man for the New Knoxville Telephone company. Funeral services have been arranged for 2:30 Thursday afternoon at the M.E. church in New Knoxville following a short service in the home. The Rev. J.C. Kleusner, will officiate. Burial in Pilger Ruhe cemetery.
