Additional: Velma R. Ralston, 52, 04526 McKinley Road, St. Marys, died at 1:35 p.m. Oct. 7 at Valley Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 20, 1946, in Connersville, Ind., to Alvin and Virginia (Hendricks) Stamm. On Aug. 2, 1975, she married Craig Ralston, who survives. Other survivors are a son and his wife, Allan and Nikki Gilbert, St. Marys, and a son, Rick Brandenburg, Ansonia; a daughter, Rosealee Gilbert, New Bremen; a brother, Kenton Stamm, St. Marys; three sisters, Delores Sigmon, Hurricane, W. Va., Judy Scott, Alger, and Evie Whitley, Denver, Colo; and nine grandchildren. She was a homemaker and was a sales representative of Avon Products. She was a former janitor at Agway Corp. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and American Legion Post 323 Auxiliary, both of St. Marys. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Ron Spurgeon officiating. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery in Auglaize County. Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Contributions can be made to the family or Valley Nursing Home Activities Fund.
