Additional: Sam Ruvoldt, 72, 1302 E. Spring St., St. Marys, died at 2:48 p.m. June 30, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born March 25, 1929, in Wapakoneta, a son of Raymond and Lulu (Howell) Ruvoldt. He was formerly married to Dorothy Houser, who survives in St. Marys. Other survivors are three sons and their wives, Jeff and Stephanie of St. Marys, Doug and Janet of St. Marys and Randy and Pattie of Kenton; a brother, Jim of St. Marys; a sister, Marlene Shelby, St. Marys; and eight grandchildren. He was retired from the former Colonial Oil Station in St. Marys. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge Aerie #767, and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, both of St. Marys. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton. Calling is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the family.
