Additional: Ruth Marie Roush, 81 of Lima, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, Sept 28, 2001 in Lima Convalescent Home. She was born June 25, 1920 in St. Marys to Alfred and Clara Leoto (Kuck) Hegemier. On April 5, 1941, she married Berle C. Roush in Lima who died May 17, 2000. She is survived by two daughters, Carla Sue Roush, Atlanta, Ga.; Ann (Jeffrey) Carolus, Lima; an adopted daughter, Bunny Lore, Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis L. Roush; one brother, Carl Hegemier and step-father, Damon L. Bishop. Mrs. Roush was a registered nurse and had been an industrial nurse at Ford Motor Company and BLH. She had also worked at Lima Convalescent Home and also did private duty nursing. She was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church, formerly Peace Lutheran Church and their Church Circle. She was a graduate of Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. A member of the Lima Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, Charter Member of Alpha Theta of Omega Sigma Sorority. Member of VFW Auxillary. Funeral services will be held at, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Rahel Hahn, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Memorials may be directed to Lima Memorial Hospital or Leader Dogs for the Blind.
