Additional: Robert H. "Butch" Rempe, 55, Tampa, Fla, formerly of New Bremen, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Tampa V.A. Hospital in Tampa. He was born Dec. 15, 1945 , in Auglaize County, the son of Robert Rempe Sr. and Pauline (Schnelle) Rempe. His mother died in 1964 and his father survives in Minster. His first wife, Kaye Topp, survives in Celina. His second wife, Gale Rempe, survives in Tampa. Other survivors include four daughters, Rene Hammond of New Bremen, Jayne (Rodney) Ruwoldt of Celina and Chryistina Rempe and Cheyenne Rempe, both of Tampa; five sons, Kenney (Kelly) Rempe of Celina and Robert Rempe, Joshua Rempe, Shawn Rempe and Nickolas Rempe all of Tampa, a sister, Bert (Don) Gehle of Celina; a sister-in-law, Linda Rempe of New Bremen; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Rempe, and brother, Ed Rempe, who died in 1991. Mr. Rempe was self employed and worked at Fredricks Fabrication of Tampa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with the Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
