Born the daughter of Henry and Sarah Botkin Hinkle she was a native of the Koop Community until her marriage, when whe left to make her home in Iowa. There are numerous friends and relatives here. One son Fred, daughter-in-law and two grand-daughters survive. She was buried in Highland cemetery, Ottumwa.
