Additional: Wapakoneta—James Edward Rohrbaugh, 84, Dearbaugh Avenue, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at 5:50 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, son of Edward W. and Anna (Hummel) Rohrbaugh. On June 19, 1946, he married the former Mary Caroline Arnett. She survives with two sons, Edward James of Wapakoneta, and David James of Lima; two grandsons; a brother, John Malcolm of Canton; and a sister, Janis Rohrbaugh of Wapakoneta. A sister preceded him in death. Mr. Rohrbaugh was a farmer and worked 45 years as a livestock buyer with Producers Stock Yards in Wapakoneta. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where he had been a Sunday School teacher and deacon. He attended Keller Grade School on Cemetery Road and graduated in 1932 from Blume High School in Wapakoneta. He was an avid hunter. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the radio ministry fund of the First United Church of Christ.
