Survivors are a son, Edward of Minster; two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Walter Hoying, Sidney, and Linda and Gary Carr, Anna; a brother, Earl Roettger, Toledo; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Deceased is an infant son, Joseph, a sister, and a grandchild. He was retired from Midmark Corporation, Versailles, and had been employed at the Wooden Shoe Inn, Minster. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit Celebrant officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Calling is from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Contributions can be made to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
