Additional: St. Marys—Edna E. Rodeheffer, 91, 830 Gethsemane Street, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. (She was born) in New Knoxville to Christ and Lena Buddemeyer Schroer. On Feb. 3, 1927 she married LeRoy Rodeheffer and he died on Feb. 10, 1985. She is survived by two children: Alice and Richard Kittel and Wilbur and Beth Rodeheffer, all of New Bremen; a sister Verneda Ewing of Buckland; a sister-in-law Mildred Schroer of New Bremen; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and brothers Elmer, Emil and Harvey Schroer and sisters Emily Neusmeyer and Leona Hesse. Mrs. Rodeheffer was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville and had formerly belonged to the Women's Guild of the Church. She was a homemaker and loved her flower garden. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilberg Funeral Home in New Bremen with the Rev. David Hunt officiaiting. Burial will follow in the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church.
