Additional: Theodore C. Pohlman, 75, 831 W. Oliver St., St. Marys, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 20 at his residence. He was born Dec. 2, 1924, in St. Marys to Theodore Sr. and Gladys (Lininger) Pohlman. On July 5, 1944, he married Mary METZGER, who died July 26, 1998. On Oct. 29, he married Lois (Wierwille) Henning, who survives. Other survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Darlene and Barton Beck, and Judith Ann and Frank Hutson, all of New Bremen; a stepdaughter and her husband, Paulette and Gary King, Celina, and two stepdaughters, Pamela Henning, Massillon, and Linda Bubp, St. Marys; a daughter-in-law, Janice of Van Wert; two sisters, and their husbands, Rose and Roger Leffel, St. Marys, and Mary Louise and William Kill, Venedocia; nine grandchildren, 12 stepgrandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a number of stepgreatgrandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Carla Jean, a son, Robert, and a sister, Elizabeth Beck. He was retired as a sheet metal worker in the engineering department of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St.Marys, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, servincg as a sergeant in the 881st Field Artillery Battalion, 69th Division in Central Europe. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, American Legion Post 323 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, all of St. Marys, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Celina. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St.Marys. Burial with joint military rites conducted by American Legion and VFW are at Elm Grove Cemetery. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a memorial service conducted by the American Legion and VFW at 7 p.m. Contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
