Additional: Albert H. Prueter , 81, of 14 S. Wayne Street, St. Marys, died at 1:06 p.m. Monday at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, after an extended illness. Born December 4, 1898 in St. Marys, he was the son of John Christian and Caroline (Moser) Prueter. His mother, Mrs. Caroline Prueter, survives at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville. On October 24, 1918, he married Amanda Eversman, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Lelon "Lee" J. Prueter, of Lima; and Albert H. Prueter, Jr. of Perrysburg; a daugher, Mrs. Ray (Cecil) Bruinsslot, of Bellefontaine; two great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; and a brother, Vilas Prueter, of Kansas City, Kan. A daughter, Shirley; three brothers, Raymond, Kenneth and Malcolm; and a sister, Crystell, preceded him in death. Mr. Prueter was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, St. Marys, in which he had served as elder for many years. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the church. Elder Gene Deters, president of the Northwest Ohio District of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The body will be moved to the church Friday noon to lie in state until the time of services.
