She was born Nov. 19, 1910, in Clay Township, Auglaize County, to John and Agnes (Shaffer) Frideger. On Oct. 22, 1937, she married Wilbert C. Pester and he died March 14, 1974. Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Cora and Louis Kettler, Wapakoneta; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Deceased are two sons, John Jacob and Carl Frederick; an infant brother and two sisters, Esther Frideger and Eunice Reinhart. She was a homemaker and a 1929 graduate of the former Blume High School. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis, the Rev. Kieran Darcy officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. There will be no visitation. Contributions can be made to the Auglaize Acres Activity Fund.
