Additional: LaDonna J. Overman, 74, West Fifth Street, Minster, died at 4:25 a.m. April 2, 2002, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster. She had been ill seven months with lung cancer. She was born Oct. 7, 1927, in Deshler, to Richard and Gladys (Briggs) Budde. On Sept. 15, 1951, she married Eugene A. Overman and he survives. Also surviving are two sons and their wives, Paul and Becky of Fort Loramie and John and Twyla of Lima; two daughters and their husbands, Jeannie and John Lore, North Star, and Martha and Ken Jutte, New Bremen; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Barbara; a brother, Thomas Budde; and a grandson. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Mission Commission of the church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 387, all of Minster. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Calling at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
