Additional: Anna M. Nester, 77, 702 Defiance St., Wapakoneta, died at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima. She was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Daviess County, Ind., the daughter of Martin and Margaret (Brewer) Cosgrove. On Sept. 24, 1947, she married Ralph E. Nester, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Sue (Joseph) Debartoli of Oak Harbor; two sons, Donald (Cindi) Nester of Elida and Timothy Nester of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren and two geat- grandchildren. Mrs. Nester was a registered nurse and homemaker. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta and a life member of American Legion, Burchwood Post 121, in Washington, Ind. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. William Eilerman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, Wapakoneta Chapel, in Wapakonta. A Christian Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph School in Wapakoneta.
