Additional: Leon T. Muhlenkamp, 85, 13378 Bornhorst Road, McCartyville, died at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster. He was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Cranberry Prairie, to John and Catherine (Homan) Muhlenkamp. On Jan. 18, 1939, he married Clotilda Goecke, who survives. Other survivors are five daughters and their husbands, Ramona and Kenneth Rose, Fort Loramie, Norma and Thomas Siegel, Newport, Mary Jane and James Osborn, Columbus, Lucy and Mark Skinner, Waldorf, Md., and Rebecca and James Rethman, Fort Loramie; three sons and their wives, William and Rose of Tipp City, James and Janet of Tawawa, and Jerrald and Mary of Minster; 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, seven sisters and a grandchild. He was a foreman at Copeland Corp., Sidney, and was retired from Minster Machine. He served on Anna School Board and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served as its lector, McCartyville, Knights of Columbus, McCartyville. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Patrick Duffy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
