Additional: Jennie M. Meckstroth, 76, of 201 S. St. Marys St., New Knoxville, died at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the emergency room of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital of a sudden apparent heart attack. Born Sept. 7, 1904 in Washington Twp., Auglaize County, she was a daughter of Wesley and Flora (Settlage) Katterheinrich. April 20, 1922, she was married to Ferd B. Meckstroth, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Roland Meckstroth of St. Marys; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Lois Jean) Schuller of New Knoxville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Clem (Olga) Steinecker of New Knoxville. A son, grandson, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Meckstroth was a homemaker, a member of the United Methodist Church at New Knoxville and the United Methodist Women. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. James E. Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Knoxville, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church after 11 a.m. Friday.
