He was born May 17, 1901, in Auglaize County.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs.E.W. (Maud) Gross, 118 Haller; Mrs. Evelyn Allen, 1001 Holmes, Mrs.Julia Sybert, with whom he lived; and Mrs. Thelma Smith, Rt. 1, Huntsville; and a brother, Joshua of Rt. 1, Ansonia.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Siferd Main Street Chapel with burial in Willow Branch Cemetery, Waynesfield.
