Additional: Botkins—Herbert R. Limbert Sr. 91, 103 Hickory St., died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at 3:45 p.m. at The Pavilion Nursing Home, where he had been a resident since Aug. 1. He was born on July 29, 1909, in Auglaize County, the son of John and Margaret (Schneider) Limbert. On Oct. 28, 1937, he married the former Lorena Steinke, who survives at home. Survivors include three sons, Herbert Jr. of Fryburg, Raymond and Edward, both of Botkins; a daughter, Luella Limbert Steinke of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Limbert was retired form Superior Tube Corp. in Wapakoneta. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691 of Wapakoneta, District 22 Bald Eagles and Botkins Senior Citizens. His hobbies included fishing, playing cards and woodworking. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. James Trick officiating. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Fryburg. Friends may call today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Long and Folk Funeral Home in the Wapakoneta Chapel. An Eagles memorial service will be held at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
