Additional: New Knoxville—David Edward Luedeke, 51 of 05797 Henschen Road, New Knoxville, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 1999 in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital at St. Marys after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 8, 1947, at Coldwater to Wilbert and Marian Nolte Luedeke, who are both deceased. On Nov. 26, 1967, he married Terrel J. Maxson, who survives near New Knoxville. Mr. Luedeke was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ at New Bremen. He was a machanic and owned and operated Waynesfield Service Center at Waynesfield, Ohio, since 1985. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peters United Church of Christ at New Bremen with the Rev. Thomas Kelso officiating and 4 p.m. Thursday in the Waynesfield Baptist Church at Waynesfield with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. The family will be receiving friends one half hour prior to services on both days. Those wishing to make contributions, can direct those towards David's medical care or to the Charity of the donor's choice. Gilberg Funeral Home at New Bremen is in charge of arrangements.
