He was formerly married to Darla Leonard, who survives in St. Marys. Other survivors are two sons and their wives, Darren and Marietta, and Bryan and Meredith, all of Wapakoneta; a stepfather, Ronald Swick, Lima; a stepdaughter and her husband, Becky and Jim Frankenberger, Celina, and a stepdaughter, Shelly Doster of Louisiana; a stepson, Todd Norman, Wapakoneta; a brother and his wife, Jerry and Charlene of New Knoxville; two sisters and their husbands, Linda and Gary Snow, Maplewood, and Cindy and Kerry Hasting, Wapakoneta, and a sister, Cheryl Kirkman, Lima; a brother-in-law, Carl McCune, Wapakoneta; four grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, James D., and two sisters, Carolyn J. McCune and Patricia A. Leonard. He was employed at St. Marys Foundry, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date. Contributions can be made to St. Rita's Hospice. Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, handled arrangements
